Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in Public Health
Description
This course offers a holistic viewpoint on the importance of AI and ML applications in public health. Students will be introduced to the concepts of AI and ML in public health and health promotion and will have the opportunity to review and apply training-data to a “learning algorithm”. This course will also provide an overview of health promotion program planning process throughout the life cycle. Fundamental areas of health promotion such as nutrition, physical fitness, and weight control are covered in depth. Health promotion nursing strategies and interventions are highlighted as appropriate in the care of individuals, communities, and groups.
