Description
This course provides a comprehensive and applied overview of women’s health using a life course perspective. It examines how biological, social, behavioral, and environmental factors interact across different life stages—from early life and adolescence to reproductive years, menopause, and aging—to shape women’s health outcomes and intergenerational wellbeing. The course emphasizes prevention, equity, and public health action, linking individual health experiences to population-level outcomes. Learners will gain a holistic understanding of women’s health issues and the critical role of health systems, social determinants, and evidence-based interventions across the life span
