This course provides an overview of environmental and occupational health, focusing on the relationship between work environments, public health, and environmental factors. The course also explores environmental pollution, its historical context, and future perspectives, as well as the management of environmental health risks at home and in the community. Special attention is given to issues such as noise, pollution in air, water, and soil, and the treatment of hospital waste, providing students with the knowledge to assess and mitigate environmental and occupational health hazards effectively.
