Description

Basics in Informatics and Statistics course equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to harness the power of data-driven decision-making in healthcare. Through a structured curriculum and hands-on experience, learners will delve into the core concepts of health informatics, explore the functions of Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and master basic statistical analysis techniques.

This course also offers the learners an opportunity to be familiar with 3 of the most well-known statistical software programs: SPSS, Microsoft Excel, and Epi Info 7.

  3. Estimate population parameters from sample data and formulate hypotheses.
  4. Apply basic statistical principles to analyze and interpret data.
