Disasters and emergencies are extraordinary situations that require the use of special strategies to manage them. The complex emergency profile necessitates the existence of competent systems that are capable of managing these emergencies by using a scientific, evidence-based approach that is based on the local context and yet enlightened by international experiences.

This course will assist participants in applying different public health tools and techniques during challenging conditions. It will enhance the capacity of the participants to effectively and efficiently respond to public health emergencies by using suitable public health tools and techniques.
