Capstone Project
As the culminating academic and practical experience of the Master of Public Health Emergency Management Program, students are required to complete a Capstone Project over a three-months period. The Capstone is designed to integrate and apply the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired throughout the program to address a real-world public health emergency management problem. Students will independently design, implement, and present a project that reflects critical thinking, problem-solving, and evidence-based decision-making. The Capstone Project may involve a field assessment, preparedness plan, outbreak response evaluation, emergency risk communication strategy, simulation exercise design, policy analysis, or another relevant deliverable approved by faculty advisors.
