Environmental Health

The Professional Diploma in Environmental Health is a comprehensive nine-month online program designed to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of public health professionals in identifying, assessing, preventing, and managing environmental health risks. The program covers environmental and occupational health, environmental health management, and environmental health risk management through self-paced learning and instructor-led online practicums. 

Countries in the EMR suffer from a wide variety of environmental health challenges, ranging from a lack of basic sanitary control measures to a lack of advanced research in this field. Issues exist in the region regarding agricultural health, workplace safety, outdoor and indoor air quality, food safety, water quality, toxic waste, and climate change.

Offering training programs in this field is crucial for the safety of people, the advancement of the economy, and the elevation of the quality of life in the EMR. Such programs contribute to providing stability in war–torn countries.

Admission Requirements

Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in health, medicine, behavioral sciences, social sciences, basic sciences, or another related scientific discipline.
