Risk Mitigation: Engineering Controls
Description
This course will introduce students to the different engineering controls associated with the maintenance of proper containment and safe practices. In the beginner’s level course, participants were introduced to the laboratories with different biosafety levels.
According to the respective level of biosafety, in this course, participants will learn how building design and operation, the choice of biosafety cabinets, and proper ventilation are essential to ensure safe practices, the safety of the workers and the environment.
